STEP 1

Download WordPress!

Our hero begins the quest by downloading the legendary WordPress package!

BAM! Head over to wordpress.org and grab the latest version!

wget https://wordpress.org/latest.zip

STEP 2

Create Your Database!

With great power comes great database responsibility! Time to create your MySQL fortress!

Log into your cPanel account
Navigate to MySQL Database Wizard
Create a new database with an EPIC name!
Create a database user (choose a strong password!)
Grant ALL privileges to your user

STEP 3

Upload WordPress Files!

Time to unleash the WordPress files into your domain’s directory!

WHOOSH! Use File Manager or FTP to upload!

Extract the WordPress.zip file
Upload all files to public_html (or your domain folder)
Make sure .htaccess file is included!

STEP 4

Configure wp-config.php!
